How do I purchase an e-gift card?

e-gift cards are available at this link.  Choose the dollar amount, enter the recipient’s name and gift message, then check out. The gift card will be sent to the purchaser’s email, simply forward along the email to the recipient on the day you choose.

Gift cards are valid only at BronwenJewelry.com and our flagship retail store located at 124 Minnesota, Bend Oregon.

Discount codes cannot be used to purchase e-gift cards.  However, an e-gift card may be used with a discount code to make a purchase of items other than e-gift cards.

 

What does World Scout mean?

We love jewelry, not just our own jewelry, but other brands too!  Some of the jewelry items available to purchase on our website are produced by other jewelry companies and those items are indicated as World Scout in the product’s description and have the following logo. 

These items are not produced by Bronwen Jewelry and are not intended for active use or use the water.  World Scout items are not eligible for our Warranty and Repair Program

What is the Malawi Collection?

The Malawi Collection belongs to our World Scout Collection and is a line of jewelry sustainably made in a solar-powered workshop that creates full-time employment for a team in rural Malawi.  Each item is hand forged from recycled brass. 

These items are not produced by Bronwen Jewelry and are not intended for active use or use the water.  World Scout items are not eligible for our Warranty and Repair Program

What does water friendly mean?

For Bronwen Jewelry items, we design our jewelry, select materials, and train our artisans to skillfully create jewelry pieces with the intention that each item will be durable and will withstand the rigors of active life. 

For items labeled Waterfriendly, we put our stamp of approval for use in the water since the materials and design are known to withstand the extra demands that use in water has on jewelry.  

When we design our jewelry, we plan for our jewelry to meet an aesthetic look to compliment the lifestyle that goes along with living active.   We feature simple symbolic motifs and natural gemstones as adornments, while the sturdy nylon cording makes for a fast drying, lightweight and comfortable feel.   

However, with a lot of heavy use putting Bronwen Jewelry to the test by wearing it daily, wearing it in the water, swimming, showering, and sweating in it, putting it through all the rigors of a life lived in motion, our jewelry will gain an “aged” look.

 

Which products are water friendly?

Even though we are an active jewelry brand, not all our pieces are made to endure the extra demands of being called Waterfriendly.

If you plan to use your Bronwen Jewelry heavily in water, please be sure to select items that are indicated with Waterfriendly in the product description for best results.

 

Warranty and Repair Program

What does the Bronwen Jewelry Warranty cover?

All jewelry items produced by Bronwen Jewelry are warranted against defects in materials and construction for the lifespan of the product or until the product is no longer being produced.

What does the Bronwen Jewelry Warranty not cover?

Our warranty does not cover wear and tear, maintenance, tarnishing, lost jewelry or jewelry parts, unwanted knots and tangling, allergic reactions, accidents, misuse, neglect, improper care, or the natural breakdown of materials over time.

My item has broken, can it be repaired?

In most cases we can repair Bronwen Jewelry items.

Once we have received your submitted form, we will follow up with further information and instructions specific to your case. 

 

How much does it cost for a repair?

Not all repairs are covered by our warranty but may be eligible for repair for a reasonable fee. Our repair rates range from $5-$50 depending on the style.

Do I pay for shipping fees for my repair?

For US addresses, the customer is responsible for shipping the repair to us, and we will provide the return shipping to the customer.  Any repairs outside the US are responsible for shipping costs both ways.

 

How long do repairs take?

Repairs can take 3-4 weeks to complete.

 

How can I check on the progress of my repair?

I have a Bronwen Jewelry necklace and the cord is looking old and worn out, can I get a replacement cord?

We are happy to replace the necklace cord on your favorite Bronwen piece.  If it warrants a small fee, we will let you know.  Fill out our Repairs Form at this link and we will follow up with more information.

My item is tarnished, can this be repaired?

Polishing tarnished jewelry is considered maintenance and is not covered under our Warranty.  Luckily, tarnished jewelry can be restored by following our Care Instructions Page.

How do I clean my Bronwen Jewelry?

The best way to maintain the beauty of your jewelry is to take proper care of it from the beginning.  See our Care Instructions Page for some great tips on caring for and cleaning your jewelry.

 

Custom Orders 

Can I order a custom Bronwen Jewelry item?

You may request to order a custom-made item if the request is a modification of a current design.  To inquire if we can accommodate your request, click here to leave us a message or email us at info@bronwenjewelry.com

Custom items are non-refundable, and any subsequent alterations will incur an additional alteration fee.

 

I lost one earring, can I purchase a single earring?

For select styles, we can offer the purchase of a single earring, however we cannot guarantee the new earring will match the pre-owned earring.

Can I make changes to my pre-owned Bronwen Jewelry?

If you already own a piece of our jewelry but it needs some "changing" or "modifying" to stay in your current list of favorites, please fill out our Repair Form at this link and we will follow up with a quote.

Alteration fees are non-refundable, and any subsequent alterations will incur an additional alteration fee.

 

Can I order a plain necklace cord?

We often get requests to make a plain Tiny Charm Necklace cord without the charm, because our customers sometimes already own a very special pendant that needs a necklace to hang on.  

We are happy to accommodate your request.  Our plain Tiny Charm Cords are just like our Tiny Charm Necklace, just without the charm.  They will arrive finished with clasps knotted on the ends.  You can choose your cord color, length, and metal of clasps.  Cost is $20 per necklace. 

 Just be sure that your charm loop has a hole that is large enough to fit over our clasps.  Our clasps measure 5mm x 3mm + some wiggle room. Custom made plain Tiny Charm Necklace Cords are non-refundable.

Returns and Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We are happy to issue a refund or exchange if your purchase meets our requirements for a return.  See our full Return Policy here.

 

Do you offer free returns?

For all returns, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs to return the item(s) to us. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

For exchanges, Bronwen Jewelry will ship the new exchange item for no additional shipping fees for US addresses only – additional fees will apply for international shipping.

I received a gift that I would like to exchange, how can I proceed?

I received an incorrect, defective, or damaged item. What do I do?

Shipping 

When will my order be shipped?

It is our goal to make, pack, and ship all orders within 2 business days of your purchase.  Business days for us means Monday - Friday.  If we have a sale, or it is around a major holiday shopping time, our turnaround time can increase to 5 business days.  

 

How do I know if my order has shipped?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking information. 

 

If you do not receive a shipping confirmation email, please leave us a message here or email us at info@bronwenjewelry.com and we will provide your shipment information.

 

I did not receive an order confirmation, what can I do?

If you do not receive an order confirmation email within 24 hours of your purchase, please leave us a message here or email us at info@bronwenjewelry.com and we will provide your order details.

 

What shipping carrier do you use?

We ship all our packages via USPS.

 

Do you ship to PO Boxes?

Yes, we ship to PO Boxes and any US address where your mail is delivered.  We ship all our packages via USPS.

 

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we can ship internationally to most countries.  All international orders will be shipped via USPS First Class International Mail.

All orders shipping internationally are subject to additional charges.  Individual countries may impose an import tax on your package.  It will be the customer’s responsibility to pay these expenses.  

 

How long are transit times once my order has shipped?

USPS First Class Mail which arrives in 6-8 business days

USPS Priority Mail which arrives in 4-6 business days

First Class International Mail which arrives in 7-21 business days

We do our best to ship your order in a timely manner.  Bronwen Jewelry is not responsible for shipping carrier delays. 

 

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Expedited shipping services range in price from $40-$70 depending on destination and type of service needed.

How do I get free shipping?

For US addresses, orders totaling over $100 are eligible for free shipping which is USPS First Class Mail and arrives in 6-8 business days.

 

What happens if I refuse the package?

If you refuse a shipment, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any applicable import fees, and the cost of returning the package to Bronwen Jewelry.  These charges will be deducted from your refund.

 

Tracking shows my package has arrived, but I have not received it.  What should I do?

Occasionally carriers experience service disruptions and errors that will result in delayed shipments or incorrect tracking updates. Please allow an additional 5 business days for shipment delays and issues to resolve.

I need to change the shipping address on my order, how can I do that?

If you need to change the shipping address on your order, please let us know right away.  If the package has not left our facility, we will be able to change the shipping address.  If the package is already in route, we will not be able to change the shipping address.

Customers are responsible for supplying accurate shipping information.  If the shipping address supplied is not correct, the customer is responsible for any charges that result in the reshipment of the order. 

 

Do you replace lost or stolen packages?

We recommend selecting a secure shipping location where someone is always present to receive deliveries.  We are not responsible for stolen packages.
